Our Environment
We have designed a warm, welcoming environment inspired by the Danish concept of hygge. Classrooms are calm and inviting, with natural materials and soft lighting used wherever possible to help children feel safe, settled and ready to learn. Our learning spaces are designed to spark curiosity and celebrate individuality. We want every child to feel known, valued and supported, so they can learn, feel loved, and grow into confident, compassionate individuals.
Each classroom features a bespoke reading area, filled with high-quality, age-appropriate books. We want every child to become fluent readers with a lifelong love of reading — because we believe reading enables everyone to become a life-long learner.
Beyond the classroom, our outdoor environment has been developed with children in mind. It includes a running sports area for running and active play, a construction zone for creativity and problem-solving, an outdoor gym to promote physical wellbeing, and a stage area complete with dressing-up clothes and music to encourage imaginative expression.
OUR CHILDREN
At the heart of our school is each and every child. As a small school we are able to know each child as an individual and can build on their strengths and nurture and support their weaknesses. Our children are taught by dedicated, hard working staff who make learning fun and exciting whilst ensuring that we provide a high quality education so that every child realises his or her potential.
